Assistant Vice President, Cloud Security Threat Modeler - Remote

Overview

Citi is seeking a security-focused individual with a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles to join the Cloud Threat Modeling team, where you will identify threats and specify mitigating controls to reduce risks associated with operating in the public cloud. In Short • Perform Threat Modeling using a documented process. • Develop automation tools as required. • Maintain high standards in identifying threats and specifying controls. • Manage the lifecycle of identified threats and controls. • Deliver threat models and supporting tasks within timeframes. • Provide feedback and improvements to the threat modeling process. • Present work to seniors and technical teams. • Work in a collaborative environment with diverse teams. • Engage in continuous learning of new technologies. • Build relationships across multiple cross-functional teams. Requirements • 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity roles. • Experience with Jira or other ticketing systems. • Knowledge of security practices (authentication, authorization, etc.). • Experience with scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). • Familiarity with Threat Modeling techniques (STRIDE, PASTA, etc.). • Understanding of operating systems and their hardening. • Experience in a regulated environment. • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience. • Foundational cloud certification (AWS, GCP, Azure). • Foundational cybersecurity certification (CompTIA Security+, etc.).
