MCG Senior Product Owner- Clinical Platform (Remote)

About the position The MCG Product Owner is a hybrid role focused on the configuration, maintenance, and support of MCG Cite Auto Auth and WebQI. This position requires a hands-on approach combined with subject matter expertise to drive initiatives that enhance utilization management decisions. The individual will manage these products daily, ensuring their functionality aligns with business needs, particularly regarding cost of care. The role also involves leading expansion projects related to cost care, making the Product Owner a key resource for MCG and CareWebQI inquiries. Responsibilities • Define the Product Backlogs by collaborating with clinical teams and platform leaders. , • Develop the Product Roadmap and use it to create epics and features, building a Product Backlog and reviewing it with business owners for prioritization. , • Determine acceptance criteria and have the authority to accept or reject development team deliverables. , • Articulate the value proposition of tools to various stakeholders, including clinicians and IT personnel. , • Configure and maintain MCG Cite Auto Auth and WebQI to meet organizational needs. , • Manage user access, permissions, and roles within the tools. , • Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure seamless operation. , • Implement updates, patches, and enhancements as needed. , • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential problems. , • Guide Business Analysts in breaking down the Minimal Viable Product (MVP) into user stories. , • Provide inputs to the Scrum Master on improvement opportunities during grooming sessions. , • Engage with clients and stakeholders to educate them about the product. , • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize enhancements. , • Work closely with the MCG vendor to ensure smooth execution of new initiatives. , • Monitor the success of enhancements and make adjustments as needed. , • Support culture change to improve delivery agility. , • Provide strategic guidance on the future direction of the tools within the organization. , • Support team building and development by utilizing individual skills and fostering a feedback culture. , • Mentor Product Owners to ensure their success. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Product Management, Engineering, Information Technology or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree. , • 6 years of experience in IT and business analysis, business development, solutions development, systems analysis, technical design/development, or implementation, or 4 years of product owner experience. Nice-to-haves • Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred. , • Previous healthcare experience. , • Advanced degree.
