Responsibilities

As our Interim Sr. Manager of Accounting, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of all financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. • Provide leadership and direction to the accounting team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement. • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner. • Manage and monitor all aspects of our cash flow, preparing forecasts and financial models to support strategic decision-making. • Oversee the management of company assets, including the tracking and reporting of fixed assets. • Lead the accounting for stock-based compensation and non-controlling interests. • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. • Drive the coordination and activities of independent audits ensuring all audit issues are resolved, and all compliance issues are met, and the preparation of the annual financial statements is in accordance with U.S. GAAP and federal, state and other required supplementary schedules and information. • Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls. • Act as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team, providing expert financial guidance and advice.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA is required. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role with a proven track record of success. • Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is strongly preferred. • Extensive knowledge and experience with financial reporting, cash flows, fixed assets, stock-based compensation, and non-controlling interests. • Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles. • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in clear and concise terms. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Proficiency in advanced financial software and systems.
