Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A

Description: • Serve as a strategic business partner to key departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Solutions) to provide financial insights and recommendations. • Lead the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, and weekly forecast updates for assigned business units ensuring Adaptive is up to date at all times. • Analyze SaaS-specific financial metrics (ARR, Churn, LTV, CAC, etc.) to track performance and provide actionable recommendations. • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support revenue and expense forecasting. • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reviews, including variance analysis and recommendations for improvement. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial forecasts and business objectives. • Identify key trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide leadership with data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. • Assist in preparing Board of Directors presentations, investor reporting, ad-hoc financial analysis, special projects, and business case development for new initiatives. • Continuously improve financial reporting and forecasting processes to drive operational efficiency. • Stay updated on SaaS industry trends and benchmarks to support best practices and inform financial strategy. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus. • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably within the SaaS industry. • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and key financial metrics (e.g., ARR, MRR, Churn, etc.). • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) required. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Experience with financial reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
