Product Specialist - Consumer Lending

Requirements: • Serve as a subject matter expert in the consumer lending. • Experience with typical credit union loan products such as personal loans, auto loans, home equity loans, credit cards, and student loans. • Understand lending regulations and risk management to help guide product development. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing consumer loan products to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for enhancement. • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., product owners, developers, executive team, legal team) and external partners (e.g., credit union clients) to gather insights and ensure alignment on product enhancement goals. • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to inform product development and strategy. • Demonstrates fundamental leadership skills. • Lead process mapping and requirements gathering to develop clear technical specifications and user stories. • Works with product teams during the design, development, testing, and implementation of enhancements. • Performs other duties as assigned.
