Job Title: Special Education Teacher Location: Monroe, North Carolina Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site Start Date: Immediate Weekly Hours: 36–40 Hourly Pay: Starting at $32/hour (based on experience) We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our growing team in Monroe, North Carolina. This full-time, in-person opportunity provides a chance to work with students who need specialized support to succeed in the classroom. As a Special Education Teacher, you will design and implement individualized educational plans, collaborate with colleagues and families, and adjust your teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students. • Customize lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate various learning abilities. • Continuously assess student progress and modify teaching strategies as necessary. • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment. • Maintain regular communication with parents and school staff to track student progress and success. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education. • Current North Carolina Special Education Teaching License. • Prior experience in a special education role is preferred. • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
