Remote Special Education Teacher Position Are you a dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for a flexible remote role? VocoVision is excited to announce openings for the upcoming school year! Job Summary: • Fully Remote • 2024-2025 Academic Year • 1099 Contract Position • Working with students with a variety of disabilities • Details about the caseload will be provided during the interview Primary Duties: • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) customized for students with special needs, in partnership with parents, school administrators, and other relevant professionals. • Utilize a variety of assessment techniques to monitor student progress and adapt instructional methods as needed. • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that motivates student participation and engagement. • Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists to facilitate effective inclusion and necessary accommodations in mainstream settings. • Employ diverse teaching strategies and resources to address a range of learning styles and needs. • Document and track students’ progress, behavior, and accomplishments while keeping thorough records and reports. • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, involving them in their child’s educational journey. • Attend faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities as required. Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education/Special Education • Active Special Education Teaching License in Ohio • Experience working with special needs students is preferred • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest research and best practices in special education • Familiarity with online learning environments is a plus Application Process: To apply, please send your current resume along with your active certifications and licenses.
