Online Math Teacher ( for K-2 )

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment that fosters students' understanding and appreciation of mathematics. This role requires a commitment to student success through innovative lesson planning, effective classroom management, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Responsibilities • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. • Educate students on mathematical concepts, problem-solving techniques, and critical thinking skills. • Utilize various teaching methods, including Montessori and hands-on activities, to enhance student engagement. • Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate mathematics with other subjects. • Provide early intervention strategies for students who require additional support in mathematics. • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. Skills • Strong written communication skills for lesson planning and proofreading educational materials. • Experience in special education or working with diverse learners is preferred. • Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support a conducive learning environment. • Ability to create engaging physical education activities that incorporate mathematical concepts when applicable. • Familiarity with early intervention strategies to support struggling students in mathematics. • Proficiency in classroom management techniques that promote respect and cooperation among students.
