ARA Health Specialists (ARAHS) is looking for multiple subspecialties as we experience continued growth and expansion of services in the Asheville/Hendersonville area. We are a stable group that enjoys exceedingly low turnover. We provide excellent patient care while also providing our radiologists with an excellent quality of life. Position Details 2-year partnership track; other employment arrangements can be considered. Approximately 7-9 weekends per year during work-up. Night positions are remote or on-site; all other openings are on-site/hybrid. Practice Details Our group is a stable, independent, physician-owned multi-specialty practice (55 radiologists, 8 radiology APPs, and 5 vascular surgeons) with a highly engaged leadership team and support staff. Patient Load and Schedule At ARA Health, our partners enjoy above-average compensation while managing an average to below-average workload compared to similar practices. Many partners opt for 12 weeks of vacation and frequent 4-day work weeks. Most rotations are 9 hours, with many daytime rotations running from 8 am to 5 pm. Evening shifts are shared among the group and come with additional compensation. Overnight work is handled by our dedicated internal nights section or an external nighthawk service, ensuring our internal overnight radiologists have a structured schedule with multiple two-week blocks of time off.
