Sam's Club is hiring for Produce Team Member As a Produce Team Member at Sam’s Club, you will ensure that high-quality and fresh fruits and vegetables are available for our members. Your role is crucial to maintaining the quality, cleanliness, and availability of the produce section. You will interact with members, enhance their shopping experience, and ensure they receive fresh and well-stocked produce. Key Responsibilities: • Customer Service: Greet members with a smile, answer their questions, and assist them with their produce needs. • Quality Assurance: Evaluate the freshness and quality of produce, removing outdated items and ensuring proper product rotation. • Merchandising: Stock, organize, and replenish produce displays to keep the area clean, neat, and member-ready. • Inventory Management: Receive and manage inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels without overstock or shortages. • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain the cleanliness of the produce section, adhering to food safety guidelines and company standards. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet operational goals and assist in other departments as needed. What You Will Bring: • Passion for Produce: A genuine interest and knowledge of fruits and vegetables. • Member-Focused: Strong desire to enhance the member’s shopping experience through excellent service. • Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing work situations and maintain flexibility. • Communication Skills: Effective in communicating with both members and team members. Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Prior experience in customer service or produce is preferred but not required. Work Environment: • Physical Requirements: You must be able to lift, carry, and stock items as needed. • Shifts: Includes day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts depending on the needs of the club.
