Full-Time Virtual Teacher - Special Education Position | WFH/Remote

Key Responsibilities
Deliver Customized Instruction: Provide tailored, specialized instruction through virtual platforms to meet individual student needs. Develop and Manage IEPs: Create, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that focus on student growth and academic success. Track and Document Progress: Consistently monitor student performance, recording both achievements and areas needing improvement to guide ongoing support. Collaborate with Educators: Work closely with general education teachers to ensure accommodations and modifications align with student needs. Consult with Stakeholders: Conduct virtual consultations with parents, guardians, and colleagues to discuss progress and strategies for enhancement. Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all special education documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with regulations. Engage in Professional Development: Participate in training and resources to refine teaching strategies and stay informed about the latest in special education.
Qualifications
Education: Masters degree in Special Education or a related field. Certification: Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement. Experience: At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience in special education. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using educational technology and virtual learning platforms. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail. IEP Expertise: Proven experience in developing and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
