Head of Service Delivery

The Head of Service Delivery will work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, engaging with both internal teams and external clients. This position combines strategic leadership, client relationship management, and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving client satisfaction, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering innovation within the organization. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their technical needs, challenges, and objectives. • Collaborate with internal teams to design, customize, and implement technical solutions that align with client requirements and business goals. • Lead the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services, including project management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and scalability. • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. • Oversee financial aspects of client engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning. • Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated issues and resolution, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders. • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making and innovation. Education And Experience Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. • Proven experience in a leadership role within a technical solutions or managed services environment. • Demonstrated success in client relationship management, solution design, and project delivery. • Strong understanding of technical concepts, systems integration, and IT infrastructure. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Solid grasp of financial management principles and budgetary practices. Preferred Skills And Experience • Experience working with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Familiarity with DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycle. • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices. • Previous experience in a consulting or professional services firm. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities. Work Environment • This is a full-time remote position with a need for occasional travel to client sites or company meetings as necessary. • Work hours can be flexible but some overlap with client time-zones may be required for collaboration and meetings. • Must have a dedicated home office space with reliable high-speed internet connection.
