Virtual Social Worker for Michigan Students - Full-Time Position Position Type: Full-Time, 1099 Contract Start Date: January 2025 Caseload: PreK-12th Grade Pay Range: $43-48/hr (DOE) Overview: VocoVision is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to provide virtual social work services to students in Michigan. Help make a difference in students’ lives while working from the comfort of your own home. Responsibilities: • Conduct remote assessments to evaluate students' social and emotional well-being. • Provide virtual counseling, behavioral support, and therapy to students with a variety of emotional needs. • Create and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). • Work with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop student support plans. • Participate in IEP meetings and assist with student goal setting. • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements. Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW). • Current Michigan Social Worker license from LARA. • School Social Worker approval from the Michigan Department of Education or a temporary approval (310 form). • At least two years of experience in a school-based setting preferred. • Experience in providing virtual services is a plus but not required. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
