Key Responsibilities • Design and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) personalized for each student’s requirements. • Provide engaging virtual lessons utilizing diverse tools, including American Sign Language (ASL), to facilitate effective communication and learning. • Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to build a comprehensive support system for students. • Incorporate assistive technologies to enhance communication and improve learning experiences. • Ensure every student receives individualized attention, with a focus on their distinct educational and emotional needs. Required Skills • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL). • Strong communication skills with a passion for engaging with diverse learners. • Experience in utilizing online teaching platforms and virtual learning tools. • Ability to create and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). • Competence in integrating assistive technologies in educational settings. Qualifications • A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Education, Deaf Education, or a related field. • Valid state certification for teaching deaf and hard-of-hearing students. • Previous experience in online teaching environments.
