Body Shop Technician

Job Summary: Penske is seeking to join our team. In this role, you'll utilize cutting-edge technology and repair techniques to perform minor and major truck and trailer collision repairs. You'll work with a supportive team and have access to ongoing training and development opportunities. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform truck collision repair and maintenance services, including cab/sheet metal repair, welding/fabricating, suspension repair/alignment, and surface preparation. • Identify necessary parts for repair and document warrantable repairs on repair orders. • Maintain a safe and organized work area and perform road tests on vehicles when necessary. • Complete duties efficiently and with minimal supervision, adhering to safety and maintenance policies. • Other tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications and Experience: • 3-6 years of practical experience in truck and trailer repair or an equivalent combination of related education and experience. • High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical school preferred. • Proficiency in using welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools. • Valid driver’s license and basic computer skills required. • Ability to adhere to specific instructions, guidelines, and safety regulations. • Willingness to travel as necessary and complete background checks and drug screenings.
