Key job responsibilities As a Software Development Engineer, you will be part of a team building and maintaining systems that make a true real-world impact. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering high quality code on time as part of a cross-functional team. Contributing to team discussions around system component design, improvement and integration. Designing and developing high performance, test-driven code. Working with and maintaining a large existing code base as well as new components; maintaining production code and contributing to deployment and QA processes. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
