Remote Certified Pharmacy Technician
Location: REMOTE Salary: Competitive Description... Our client is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work remotely!
- Remote however need to reside in one of the following sates: Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina **
Primary responsibility will be answering incoming calls for their call center. No outbound cold calls. Hours: 9:00a to 5:30p EST. Training will be about 3-4 weeks. Responsibilities: Triage requests by providers and/or members/members representatives for pharmacy prior authorizations, exceptions, and appeals Enter authorizations and test claims into the pharmacy benefit system to ensure appropriate claim adjudication Perform system edits, data entry, and complete tracking logs Assist with departmental audits and quality improvement activities Qualifications: National Certification as Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint) Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Proven decision making and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Knowledge in Medical terminology If interested, please reach out to one of my contact methods below!
