Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Telecom Technician to join our dynamic traveling team. As a Traveling Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various telecom systems across the United States. You'll have the exciting opportunity to travel to different locations, assist with the location start-up, implementation and structure of new markets, work with diverse clients, and experience the region's breathtaking beauty while keeping the world connected. Although this is a position where travel will be required, we will do our best to keep you as close to your home base as possible once markets have been established and area needs have been met. Responsibilities: • Travel to different locations throughout the United States to install, configure, and maintain telecom systems, including switches, routers, cabling, access panels, and wireless equipment. • Collaborate with clients to understand their telecom needs, offer technical expertise, and provide exceptional customer service. • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring seamless communication services for our clients. • Keep detailed records of site visits, equipment configurations, and service requests for accurate documentation and reporting. • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to provide innovative solutions and enhance service offerings. Requirements: • Proven experience as a telecom/broadband technician, hospitality cabling/testing, or a related field. EXPERIENCE IN TELECOM CABLING REQUIRED. • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting telecom equipment, including routers, switches, and cabling. • Working knowledge of networking protocols • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments and client requirements. • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to delivering top-notch service to clients. • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively across the United States. • Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and perform tasks in various weather conditions. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
