KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform month-end closings for client financials. • Prepare internal client financial statements and assist clients with proper recording of various accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP. • Process client payables and receivables. • Assist external auditors with the preparation of client workpapers. • Manage expectations, duties and deadlines for multiple clients by developing and nurturing relationships in a fast-paced environment. • Provide strategic services to clients including suggestions for improved efficiencies, streamlined processes, and other areas of management. • Assist with planning and scheduling aspects of engagements. Monitor and review progress and client expectations. • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting • 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and corporate finance • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, QuickBooks online, and Bill.com • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. • Self-motivated, punctual, and have an ability to work amicably with others. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to manage multiple deadlines exhibiting proven time management skills. • Capacity to organize and plan effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment. • Adept at identifying problems and creating swift, effective solutions with a sense of urgency.
