Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Agile) – State project exp must Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract Note: Candidate must work from 12-9 PM ET Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies and technical project management. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience leading state-level projects, expertise in using MS Project, and a technical understanding of AngularJS, Node.js, and AWS cloud platforms. The candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the delivery of large-scale, complex projects in a government setting. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of state-level IT projects in accordance with Agile methodologies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with objectives and timelines. • Utilize MS Project for scheduling, resource management, and reporting to maintain project visibility and control. • Provide technical leadership in projects involving AngularJS, Node.js, and AWS cloud technologies. • Manage project risks, issues, and change requests, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders. • Lead Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. • Ensure compliance with state government policies, standards, and project governance. • Maintain strong relationships with state clients, managing expectations, and driving the achievement of project milestones. • Mentor and guide team members in Agile best practices and technical development methodologies. Qualifications: • Minimum 15 years of experience managing state government IT projects. • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). • Proficiency in MS Project for project tracking and reporting. • Technical expertise in AngularJS, Node.js, and AWS cloud solutions. • Proven experience in managing large, cross-functional teams. • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Experience working with state government agencies or similar environments.
