Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Remote Special Education Teacher to join our team as a 1099 contractor. In this fully remote role, you will provide individualized instruction and support to students, helping them achieve their educational goals in a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and strengths. • Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). • Deliver engaging virtual lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and needs. • Monitor student progress and maintain open communication with parents and guardians. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support. • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred). • Valid Mississippi teaching certification in Special Education. • Proven experience working with students with various learning disabilities. • Proficiency in using virtual teaching tools and platforms. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
