We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. This senior resource will need to start quickly. We can sponsor h1b visa for this position but cannot consider C2C candidates. Key skills: Spark, Scala, Databricks, AWS Cloud, Elasticsearch, Python Qualifications: 8+ years of experience as a Data or Software Engineer developing production code Experience delivering solid, scalable and innovative solutions An understanding of data infrastructure and related technologies Experience with data modeling, data warehousing and building end-to-end ETL pipelines Proficiency in Scala. Deep experience with Apache Spark and related (DataFrame/Dataset) API's Working knowledge of different data storage formats (parquet, Avro, Json) Advanced SQL experience Experience with the Databricks platform Advanced experience in one or more scripting languages (shell, YAML) CI/CD experience with Terraform, GitLab CI, Docker Experience with search technologies - Open Search Experience with AWS cloud technologies (S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and Lambda) Streaming and event-based system design Education: Bachelors #ConcentrixCatalyst Location: USA, CT, Work-at-Home Language Requirements: Time Type: Physical & Mental Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, headset, and other office equipment.
