Virtual Special Education Teacher

Description We're seeking a dedicated Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide exceptional support to students with disabilities in an online setting. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to significantly impact students' educational experiences by designing and delivering specialized instruction tailored to their needs... Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans to support students' learning goals. • Provide personalized online interventions and support for students with learning differences. • Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curricula and ensure inclusive education. • Conduct virtual assessments and track student progress to ensure effective learning outcomes. • Communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive learning environment. • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest best practices in online special education. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education; a Master’s degree is preferred. • Valid teaching credential with special education authorization. • At least 2 years of experience in special education. • Experience with online learning platforms and assistive technology. • Strong time management and organizational skills. • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a virtual team.
