Job Description
As a United Airlines Flight Attendant, you will be an integral part of our cabin crew dedicated to providing outstanding service and ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers. Your role will require adaptability, a friendly personality, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Responsibilities
– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the cabin is prepared for flight
– Greet passengers warmly and assist with boarding
– Provide safety demonstrations and ensure all passengers comply with security regulations
– Serve meals, beverages, and sell onboard duty-free goods
– Attend to passengers’ needs and resolve any onboard concerns
– Administer and coordinate emergency procedures or provide first aid if needed
– Participate in pre-flight briefings and debriefings with the flight crew
– Ensure the cleanliness of the cabin and service areas during flight
Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus
– Must be at least 21 years of age
– Ability to reach overhead bins and stand for extended periods
– Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
– Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous
– Possess a valid passport with no restrictions for international travel
Expected Qualification & Experience
– No prior experience required; previous customer service experience preferred
– Must successfully complete a rigorous training program at United Airlines training facility
– Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
