Job Description

As a Flight Attendant with United Airlines, you are the face of our airline and embody our values of safety, professionalism, and hospitality. Serving our diverse clientele, you will ensure a safe and comfortable flying experience while upholding the highest standards of customer service. Responsibilities include preparing the cabin, conducting safety checks, demonstrating safety procedures, serving snacks and beverages, and providing personalized assistance to passengers.

Responsibilities

– Ensure passenger comfort and safety throughout the flight.

– Educate passengers on safety protocols and assist in emergencies.

– Provide food and beverage service and manage onboard sales transactions.

– Maintain a consistently high level of customer service and professionalism.

– Address and resolve passengers’ concerns in a compassionate and efficient manner.

– Participate in pre-flight briefings and debriefings.

Requirements

– Minimum age of 21 years.

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

– Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

– Ability to lift luggage and other items up to 35 lbs.

– Must pass a background check and drug screening.

– Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.

Educational Qualifications

– High School Diploma or GED required.

– Further certifications in Hospitality, Customer Service, or related fields preferred.

Experience

– Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.

– Training will be provided to candidates demonstrating strong potential.
