Job Summary:
Planet Fitness is currently seeking an energetic and motivated Part-Time Fitness Instructor to join our dynamic team. This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly wage, offering less than 4 hours per shift during evenings. The successful candidate will be entitled to health and dental benefits, paid training, and vacation time.
Job Description:
As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading our fitness classes and providing our members with personalized attention, professional instruction, and an engaging, energetic atmosphere. You will create and deliver fun and effective exercise programs, monitor member’s progress, and ensure safety guidelines are being followed at all times.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct group fitness classes
– Provide one-on-one training as needed
– Design and implement fitness programs
– Monitor member’s progress and modify their exercise programs as needed
– Promote the benefits of regular physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits
-Ensure safety guidelines are being followed.
Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Certification from a nationally recognized fitness organization
– CPR and First Aid certified
– 1-year experience as a fitness instructor or relevant role
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to motivate and inspire members
