Job Summary:

Job Description:
As a CDL Driver for Waste Management Inc., you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy commercial truck to provide prompt and courteous delivery and removal of large containers. The CDL Driver is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with the Companys safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes vehicle condition reports on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
– Safe operation of a heavy commercial truck.
– Deliver and remove large containers.
– Compliance with companys safety standards and regulations.
– Completion of vehicle condition reports.
– Prompt and courteous customer service.
Requirements:
– Valid state-issued commercial driver’s license Class A (CDL).
– Must be at least 21 years of age.
– Legally eligible to work in the United States.
– Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle record review.

Educational Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
– Prior commercial truck driving experience is preferred, but not required.
