Job Description

As a Cabin Crew Assistant at Southwest Airlines, you will be an integral part of our flight operations, ensuring that our cabin services run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities

– Assist cabin crew in the preparation and tidiness of the aircraft cabin.

– Ensure all in-flight materials and supplies are stocked and stowed correctly before takeoff.

– Support the cabin crew during in-flight service, helping to distribute meals and beverages.

– Respond to passenger requests and assist in managing in-flight emergencies.

– Participate in pre-flight briefings and debriefs, staying informed about flight details and crew assignments.

– Facilitate the boarding process and help ensure compliance with all flight safety regulations.

– Collaborate with colleagues to report and resolve any cabin issues that arise during the flight.

Requirements

– Minimum age of 18 years.

– High school diploma or GED equivalent.

– Ability to pass a rigorous background check and drug screening.

– Physical ability to manage tasks within the confined space of an aircraft.

– Fluent in English, with additional languages considered an asset.

– No visible tattoos or piercings that cannot be covered discreetly.

– Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

– Previous experience in customer service or hospitality.

– Certification in first aid and CPR.
