Responsibilities
– Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
– Optimize API performance and ensure scalability
– Implement security best practices
– Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues
– Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
– Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality
Requirements
– Proven experience as a Senior API Engineer or similar role
– Proficiency in API design and development
– Strong knowledge of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
– Experience with API security standards and practices
– Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Strong communication and teamwork abilities
– BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience
