We're looking for people with a passion for customer service, natural empathy, and the determination to deliver a comprehensive resolution. About this Role You will be the initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing members with regards to their pensions and other financial benefits. Provide one-to-one inbound telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees in customer service roles. You may periodically provide support through outbound calls as well. Accurately document enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances. Enter application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers as needed. Maintain technical and program policy proficiency within... the client rules/guidelines and other related program policies. Provide clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements. Benefits in this Role: • $16.00 per hour pay rate after training (bi-weekly pay) • Paid Training ($15.00 p/hr.) with Equipment provided. • Full-time schedule (40 hrs. a week) • Career Growth Opportunities • Basic understanding of a call center environment in a customer service role and quality monitoring processes. Training Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm 12 weeks After Training Schedule: Availability between the hours of 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM on Monday- Friday Schedule. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following: Requirements : • High School Diploma/GED • Must be 18 years of age. • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check. • Previous customer service and/or call center experienced. • Proficiency with MS Office and keyboarding • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers. • Ability to problem solve through analysis and ongoing feedback. • Achieve results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment. • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds. • Experience working with healthcare and employer benefits is highly preferred. • Ability to successfully complete paid training • Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 8am-10pm EST, Monday- Friday States that are Not Applicable for this position: • AK, CA, HI, MA, IL, MT, NY • Metro Areas: MN- Minneapolis, IL, NY - NYC • OR - Portland, MD - Montgomery County, WA - Seattle, Washington, DC Met Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
