Employer Industry: Nonprofit Organization Why Consider this Job Opportunity... - Competitive salary of $15.00 plus shift differential - Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization - Supportive and collaborative work environment - Chance to make a positive impact on the lives of pregnant and parenting teen mothers and their children - Opportunity to work with a mission-driven organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of abuse and poverty - Training provided for trauma-informed care practices What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Plan, lead, and implement parenting, educational, independent living skills, and recreational activities - Build positive relationships with program participants and their children - Maintain agency policies and procedures to ensure youth rights and appropriate discipline - Engage with participants to foster positive and age-appropriate development - Complete documentation accurately in accordance with state licensing and various funders What is Required (Qualifications): - Minimum High School Diploma or GED - Minimum of 6-month experience in a human services field or Child Welfare Field - Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and valid vehicle insurance - Experience with computer software - Solid grasp of Trauma Informed Care and Pregnant and Parenting Populations How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Associate degree preferred in a Human Services Field, Education, or Psychology - Good written and verbal communication skills - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Empathy and resilience in working with pregnant and parenting teen mothers and their children - Ability to work well independently and as part of a team At Talentify, we prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
