Why This Role Is a Great Fit for You

We understand that many talented individuals are eager to break into the world of business analysis, data management, and agile project delivery, even if they have no formal IT background. This remote, part‑time position is designed to give you a solid foothold in a high‑impact role while you continue to develop your professional skill set.

  • Salary potential up to $150,000 with clear pathways to management roles that can exceed $250,000.
  • Fully remote with a flexible schedule that accommodates your personal commitments.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision reimbursement plans.
  • Dedicated placement assistance, mentorship, and workshop series focused on Business Analyst and SAFe Scrum Master competencies.
  • Eligibility for H‑1B sponsorship for qualified candidates residing in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the arenaflex Business Operations team, you will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and senior analysts to ensure that business requirements are captured, documented, and translated into actionable work items. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

  • Eliciting and documenting business requirements from internal and external stakeholders through interviews, surveys, and workshops.
  • Facilitating requirements workshops to discuss, refine, and gain consensus on documented user stories.
  • Writing clear, well‑formed user stories that are traceable, testable, and include defined acceptance criteria.
  • Creating detailed test plans and test cases that align with business objectives and quality standards.
  • Organizing and maintaining the team backlog, ensuring priorities are up‑to‑date and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Answering incoming client inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information about product features and service offerings.
  • Collaborating with the management team on new product ideas, sales strategies, and market feedback loops.
  • Supporting sales targets by delivering exceptional customer experiences and identifying opportunities for upsell or cross‑sell.
  • Participating in regular sprint ceremonies (stand‑ups, retrospectives, planning) to stay aligned with the agile delivery cadence.

Essential Qualifications

We are looking for motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow within a data‑focused environment. The following baseline qualifications are required:

  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or candidates eligible for H‑1B sponsorship).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in simple terms.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, especially when documenting requirements and maintaining backlogs.
  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with collaborative tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Teams.
  • Self‑motivation and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while also thriving as part of a virtual team.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning, including participation in workshops, certification programs, and on‑the‑job training.

Preferred Qualifications & Desired Skills

While not mandatory, the following experiences and competencies will set you apart from other candidates:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or any client‑facing role that required active listening and problem solving.
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and a basic understanding of the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology.
  • Exposure to business analysis concepts such as requirement gathering, stakeholder analysis, and process mapping.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset, capable of building rapport with cross‑functional teams.
  • Interest in pursuing the SAFe Scrum Master 6.0 certification, with support from arenaflex’s training partners.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package that reflects both the market rate for entry‑level data roles and the potential for rapid advancement. In addition to a base salary that can reach $150,000, you will be eligible for performance‑based bonuses, profit‑sharing opportunities, and a clear promotion track toward senior analyst and management positions.
