[Remote] Panel Growth & Community Manager (Contract)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. dQ&A, The Diabetes Research Company, is dedicated to improving the lives of people with diabetes by incorporating their voices into healthcare decisions. They are seeking a Panel Growth & Community Manager to enhance and expand their diabetes research communities through effective recruitment and engagement strategies, while building sustainable systems for long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute recruitment and retention initiatives across North America and Europe
- Build recruitment strategies for both existing and future markets
- Identify and develop new sources of participants, including patient organizations, healthcare providers, advocacy groups, community leaders, ambassadors, and referral programs
- Manage recruitment goals across multiple diabetes populations and countries
- Ensure that community members have a positive experience when participating in the community and in individual research projects
- Continuously evaluate performance and adjust tactics based on results
- Build and manage networks of partners who can help dQ&A reach people living with diabetes in different regions and countries
- Create scalable processes that improve recruitment efficiency and participant engagement
- Track recruitment performance by country, channel, source, and participant segment
- Develop clear reporting that links actions to outcomes
- Test new approaches and continuously improve based on evidence
- Balance growth objectives with quality, cost efficiency, and participant trust
- Ensure that new members have a positive introduction to dQ&A and quickly begin participating in research
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention, and long-term participation
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure community members have a respectful and rewarding experience
- Serve as an advocate for the needs and perspectives of panel members

- Steward the Community Experience
- Ensure that new members have a positive introduction to dQ&A and quickly begin participating in research
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention, and long-term participation
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure community members have a respectful and rewarding experience
- Serve as an advocate for the needs and perspectives of panel members
- Demonstrated measurable progress against recruitment and engagement goals
- Improved the quality, diversity, and representativeness of incoming panel members
- Established clear visibility into recruitment performance by country and channel
- Built or expanded several productive ambassador, advocacy, or partner relationships
- Successfully operationalized at least two or three international recruitment partnerships capable of generating sustainable participant growth
- Developed systems and reporting that support future geographic expansion
- The strongest candidates will bring a combination of growth, operational, partnership, and community-building experience
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable owning outcomes
- Able to manage multiple overlapping projects and relationships simultaneously
- Analytical and comfortable making decisions from imperfect information

- Managing external partners, affiliates, and vendors
- Launching or supporting growth initiatives in new markets
- Building repeatable partner-based recruitment programs
- Familiarity with healthcare, patient communities, clinical research, or chronic disease populations
- Working across multiple countries, regions, or cultures
- Personal or professional connections to the diabetes community are a plus
- Direct diabetes experience is not required. Curiosity, empathy, and a willingness to learn are
