[Remote] Anaplan Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DSI Consulting Group is a boutique consultancy specializing in Enterprise Planning, AI, and Automations. They are seeking a US-based Anaplan Consultant to build and deliver Anaplan models alongside senior architects, contributing to enterprise engagements and client communication while growing into solution architecture over time.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure Anaplan models and modules to design, with an eye for quality, performance, and maintainability
• Participate in discovery sessions with finance and FP&A stakeholders, capturing requirements and asking good questions
• Partner with senior architects to translate solution designs into working models, and with our offshore model builders to deliver them
• Test and validate your work, catching issues before the client does
• Support client communication — clear status, clean documentation, and a reliable handoff
• Contribute to DSI's internal standards, reusable assets, and demo library as we scale

Skills

• Roughly 2-5 years of hands-on Anaplan experience, with model-building on real engagements (Anaplan certification a plus, not a requirement)
• A solid grounding in FP&A or corporate finance concepts — budgeting, forecasting, and variance — and a genuine interest in how finance teams think
• Care for scale and maintainability: you build models others can understand and extend
• Comfort working with data and an eagerness to learn integration patterns
• Curiosity and a discovery mindset: you want to understand the problem, not just the ticket
• Clear, professional communication with both teammates and client stakeholders
• Sound judgment and the confidence to flag what you do not know
• Ownership: you carry your work to completion and follow through without being chased
