[Remote] Account Executive (Future Opportunities)

The Account Executive will drive revenue by selling branding solutions to marketing and sales teams in the software industry, engaging with clients from initial contact to closed deal.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by understanding & aligning G2 solutions to your client’s objectives
- Create ideas for clients on how G2 fits into their strategy and effectively communicate those ideas via sales presentations
- Engage with clients by email and phone from initial contact to closed deal
- Prospect and drive new business in an assigned territory
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to meet sales goals
- Research and become a knowledge expert in industry trends and information
Skills
- Mid-market typically looks for 2-4 years of quota-carrying sales experience
- Commercial typically looks for 4-7 years of quota-carrying sales experience
- Enterprise typically looks for 7+ years of quota-carrying sales experience
- Current experience generating net new business is crucial
- Experience calling into a similar size of client as the segment requires
- A proven track record of high performance, and experience exceeding sales targets
- Experience in a B2B sales environment is required for success
- Experience in the software, technology, or digital marketing industry
- A driven and competitive personality
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
- The ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment
