[Remote] Senior Consultant, Healthcare Consulting – Epidemiology

The role involves providing analytical insights, leading client engagements, and developing strategies to address epidemiological challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews and analysis of healthcare datasets to obtain epidemiological insights relevant to client requirements
  • Execute complex analytical tasks and research efforts by applying advanced healthcare analytics methods, synthesizing large clinical datasets, and interpreting findings to generate actionable insights for clients
  • Develop and implement new analytical approaches and solutions tailored to address specific epidemiological challenges and customer needs
  • Contribute to brainstorming and framework development to address key client strategic needs from an epidemiological perspective
  • Produce quality client deliverables including PowerPoint presentations, reports, white papers, abstracts, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication etc
  • Engage on multiple client projects, effectively manage time commitments, and assume greater leadership and project management responsibilities over time
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants in their professional development and project execution, with a focus on healthcare-related skills and knowledge
  • Support senior team members in business development efforts including greenfield research, developing proposals, and responding to RFP’s

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant field
  • 7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in patient population sizing and forecasting
  • Experience in R, Python, or SAS
  • Direct experience with biopharma or life sciences customers
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office products is critical, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
  • MPH or MSc in Epidemiology or equivalent in a related field
  • PhD would be a plus
