[Remote] IT Project Manager

The role involves planning, coordinating, and managing multiple IT projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of IT projects and programs
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams including technical staff, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs, and status reporting
  • Facilitating Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and supporting Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies
  • Identifying project risks, dependencies, and issues while implementing mitigation strategies
  • Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and change control processes
  • Delivering executive-level presentations, status updates, and stakeholder communications
  • Supporting resource planning and balancing multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Working collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams in fast-paced environments
  • Driving projects to successful completion while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and quality standards
  • Utilizing project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT projects or programs of similar scope and complexity
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly polished communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive results
  • PMP, CSM, SAFe, or other relevant project management certification
  • Experience supporting federal government, defense, or regulated industry environments
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or enterprise applications
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, or third-party integrations
  • Active U.S. security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one)
