[Remote] Claims Account Manager – US Middle Market
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AXA XL is known for solving complex risks and is seeking a Claims Account Manager for their US Mid-Market business unit. The role involves managing claim account functions, promoting AXA XL's claims value proposition, and ensuring compliance with client-specific instructions while fostering relationships with brokers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Representing AXA XL externally with brokers and customers promoting AXA XL claims value proposition to help distinguish us in the US Mid-Market marketplace
- Participating in marketing and business development activities, including partnership with internal business colleagues to present AXA XL claim capabilities to brokers and prospective customers
- Completion of new account implementations including completion of Welcome/Onboarding meetings with new insured, in-house claims units, TPA and broker partners to ensure all parties are aware of their roles and responsibilities on the claim program
- Interaction with the in-house claim units and third-party administrator as needed, to develop, implement and monitor compliance with the client specific instructions and any action plans related to performance on the claim program
- Management of the claim review process for the client, including coordinating the necessary internal and external resources to conduct the review, and coordinating the review meeting
- Conducting meetings with clients and brokers as necessary to resolve issues and manage the ongoing client relationship
- Interaction with the Claims Technical Team on losses. Proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders to deliver optimal claims service
- Leading client stewardship meetings to address performance of the Insured and opportunities for improvement, in participation with the in-house claim units and third-party claims administrator
- Manage and participate in Lessons Learned calls with internal and external stake holders
Skills
- Broad claims account and vendor management experience: Ideal candidates should have advanced experience within a TPA or Insurance Carrier
- Robust organizational abilities to track multiple projects and tasks
- Effective Technical Multi-Jurisdictional claims experience in a broad base of lines of business including but not limited to: Worker's Compensation, Auto, General Liability Property and Umbrella
- Technical skills with Excel, PowerPoint and Word and /or business intelligence tools in order to perform loss run data evaluations
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required for this role
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to communicate both internally and externally with senior management, business partners
- Travel is anticipated as up to 20% of the time
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or similar designation is preferred but not required
