Our mission is to deliver unparalleled expertise, innovative solutions, and a collaborative culture that empowers every employee to thrive. By joining arenaflex, you become part of a forward‑thinking organization that values merit, transparency, and continuous growth.

Why This Role Matters

In the fast‑moving world of syndicated loans, accurate data extraction and entry are the backbone of informed decision‑making. As a Part‑Time Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring that loan notices are meticulously reviewed, validated, and entered into our systems. Your work will directly support senior analysts, portfolio managers, and compliance teams, helping arenaflex maintain its reputation for precision and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review syndicated loan notices and manually extract key data points for entry into internal databases.
  • Validate automated data extraction results, correcting any discrepancies to guarantee data integrity.
  • Maintain a high speed and accuracy rate while reviewing and inputting data, meeting daily and weekly targets.
  • Operate independently, adhering to strict deadlines without direct supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with team members via email and virtual collaboration tools, providing status updates and raising issues promptly.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to identify patterns, flag anomalies, and suggest improvements to data capture processes.
  • Support the broader data‑management team during peak periods, scaling effort to meet business demand.

Work Schedule & Flexibility

This is an hourly, part‑time position with core hours between 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. CST. Shifts are scheduled in minimum four‑hour increments, with a typical expectation of eight hours on peak days (usually 2‑3 days per month). You will work between 3 and 10 days per month, providing a balanced blend of flexibility and regularity. While the schedule is variable, it is designed to accommodate both business needs and your personal commitments.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant data entry or loan‑processing experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Comfortable using laptop hardware, video‑conferencing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams), and at least two web applications simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to locate specific data points using logical reasoning and clear guidance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on professional email etiquette.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational prowess, and analytical mindset.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications & Nice‑to‑Have Skills

  • Experience in financial services, particularly syndicated loan documentation.
  • Familiarity with data‑validation tools or basic scripting (e.g., VBA, Python) to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Prior exposure to remote work environments and self‑management techniques.
  • Certification or coursework in data management, information governance, or related fields.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Accuracy & Speed: Ability to process large volumes of data quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Independent Work Ethic: Self‑motivated, capable of meeting deadlines without constant oversight.
  • Analytical Thinking: Spotting inconsistencies, interpreting complex loan language, and suggesting process enhancements.
  • Technical Agility: Seamlessly switching between multiple software platforms and troubleshooting minor technical issues.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and courteous interaction with colleagues across time zones.
