• Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely journal entries while conducting comprehensive monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger, ensuring all entries comply with company policies and accounting standards.
• Month-End Close Leadership: Take ownership of the month-end close process for assigned functional areas, including our domestic operations and foreign entities, ensuring all deadlines are met with precision and accuracy.
• Financial Statement Maintenance: Maintain financial records in accordance with Management and GAAP requirements, contributing to the preparation of consolidated financial statements using established methodologies and best practices.
• External Audit Support: Provide essential forecasts, documentation, and support to external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews, demonstrating our commitment to transparency and regulatory compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams, operational partners, internal stakeholders, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters, complex transactions, and process improvements.
• Process Improvement Initiatives: Lead and contribute to ad hoc analyses and special projects that advance our continuous process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance controls, and increase efficiency.
• SOX Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and internal control frameworks, maintaining the highest standards of financial governance.
• Technical Research: Research and interpret complex accounting guidance, applying technical knowledge to resolve issues and support decision-making across the organization.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements
