Job Summary EcoSphere Foundation is a leading non-profit organization committed to environmental conservation and sustainable development. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Online Environmental Researcher to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough research on environmental issues, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to support our initiatives. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while contributing to meaningful projects that have a real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research on environmental topics, policies, and sustainable practices.
  • Analyze scientific literature, policy documents, and reports to generate summaries and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop research frameworks, methodologies, and reporting structures.
  • Prepare clear and well-structured reports, whitepapers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor global environmental trends and provide recommendations to support EcoSphere Foundation’s projects.
  • Assist in developing grant proposals, funding applications, and advocacy materials based on research findings.
  • Maintain organized records of research sources, data sets, and references.
  • Support the organization in awareness campaigns, webinars, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in online research tools, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Knowledge of environmental policies, climate change issues, and sustainability frameworks is highly desirable.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in environmental research, policy analysis, or related roles.
  • Experience in NGOs, academic research, or environmental consultancy is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time or part-time remote work with flexible hours.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines and attend virtual team meetings as scheduled.
