Position Summary

We are seeking a Remote Part‑Time Community Chat Moderator to join the arenaflex team. This role focuses on moderating the official Discord server, ensuring that conversations remain respectful, on‑topic, and compliant with community guidelines. The position is fully remote, offers flexible hours, and provides a supportive environment for individuals who are passionate about online community safety and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live chat streams on the arenaflex Discord server, promptly identifying and removing messages that violate community rules.
• Apply appropriate disciplinary actions—such as muting, temporary bans, or permanent bans—to users who repeatedly breach guidelines.
• Investigate user‑submitted reports, gather evidence, and document findings in accordance with arenaflex’s moderation policies.
• Collaborate with the Community Management team to refine moderation scripts, update rule sets, and improve response protocols.
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor while interacting with community members, de‑escalating conflicts, and providing clear explanations of moderation decisions.
• Generate weekly moderation reports that highlight trends, recurring issues, and recommendations for preventative measures.
• Participate in periodic training sessions to stay current on best practices, platform updates, and emerging safety concerns.

Essential Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a suitable home workspace for remote work.
• Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet weekly scheduling commitments.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience moderating Discord servers, online forums, or similar community platforms.
