Position Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our brand and the primary point of contact for our valued customers. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers warmly, assisting them in locating merchandise, answering questions about products and store policies, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your daily duties will encompass a wide range of tasks designed to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer experiences:
- Customer Engagement: Provide friendly, positive, and approachable service to every customer, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and customer loyalty.
- Merchandise Assistance: Help customers find the products they need, offer recommendations, answer questions about merchandise features and availability, and ensure they have a satisfying shopping experience.
- Store Maintenance: Assist in keeping the store clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. This includes straightening shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring that shopping areas are presentable and easy to navigate.
- Receiving and Stocking: Help unload merchandise from delivery trucks, organize incoming inventory, and transport products from the stockroom to the sales floor efficiently and safely.
- Shelf Replenishment: Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise throughout the store, ensuring that all products are properly displayed, priced, and available for customers.
- Cash Handling and Transactions: Accurately process customer transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and maintain proper cash drawer accountability throughout your shift.
- Safety and Security Awareness: Remain constantly alert to customer activity and store conditions to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for both customers and team members. Report any suspicious behavior or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Operational Support: Perform additional duties as assigned by store management to support effective and profitable store operations, including tasks such as price changes, inventory counts, and promotional setup.
Position Requirements
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, though candidates with relevant retail experience and a strong work ethic are also encouraged to apply.
