Why This Role Matters

  • Promote arenaflex’s “Think Adoption First” philosophy by guiding guests through adoption events, providing education on responsible pet ownership, and matching animals with suitable homes.
  • Engage customers in conversations about new products, services, and promotions, highlighting benefits, features, and usage tips that enhance pet health and happiness.
  • Answer telephone inquiries promptly, addressing product, service, and pricing questions with accuracy and empathy.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to create an open, approachable management structure that values every team member’s contribution.
  • Stay current on promotional deals, exclusive services, and seasonal training programs (e.g., flea & tick prevention, summer safety, holiday offers).
  • Assist with merchandising, inventory handling, and the safe movement of items up to 50 pounds, including bending, stooping, and lifting as required.
  • Utilize arenaflex’s Sales Model to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate merchandise, and drive a seamless guest experience.

  • Contribute to a collaborative culture that prioritizes the health and well‑being of pets and their owners.
  • Take advantage of developmental programs, mentorship opportunities, and cross‑training to advance personal career goals.
  • Analyze guest feedback, escalating complex issues to the Leader on Duty when necessary, and propose actionable improvements.
  • Maintain awareness of arenaflex’s dog training class schedules, photography services, and vaccination programs to provide accurate information.
