Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Interaction

  • Greet every guest with a warm smile, maintain eye contact, and proactively offer assistance.
  • Listen attentively to customer inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure each interaction ends with a satisfied customer.
  • Demonstrate arenaflex’s service traits—identifying needs, offering helpful suggestions, and following through until the guest is fully satisfied.
  • Provide knowledgeable guidance on product selections, promotional offers, and complementary items that enhance the shopping experience.
  • Deliver courteous, fair, and efficient checkout service using the assigned cash register, handling cash, credit, and digital payments with accuracy.

Operational Excellence

  • Process transactions, including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges, while adhering to arenaflex policies.
  • Maintain clean, well‑merchandised counters and shelves; conduct regular inventory checks and update records as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
  • Assist with pricing, receiving, and stocking of merchandise, ensuring accurate placement according to safety and policy guidelines (e.g., raw foods separated from pre‑cooked items).
  • Implement asset protection procedures to identify and minimize potential profit loss, including monitoring for suspicious activity and following loss‑prevention protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco items.
  • Construct and maintain promotional displays, seasonal setups, and sale merchandise presentations; execute resets and revisions as needed.
  • Support the photo services area by operating digital passport photo stations, poster printers, and creative machines, while suggesting promotional photo products.
  • Manage web pick‑up orders: monitor incoming orders, pick items accurately, and deliver completed orders to customers upon arrival.
  • Contribute to store upkeep by keeping both interior and exterior areas tidy, organized, and inviting.

Team Collaboration & Development

  • Share best practices with teammates, modeling exemplary interpersonal habits and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in scheduled training sessions, complete performance‑linked learning modules (PPLs), and apply new skills on the floor.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.

  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and courteously.
