Job Title: Remote Ecommerce Manager (100% Work From Home) Location: Remote from Latin America Position Type: Full-time Salary: $3,000 USD/month paid via direct deposit Schedule: Monday to Friday, business hours in Puerto Rico time (UTC-4) Job Overview Our client is a rapidly growing D2C beauty brand pioneering LED light therapy devices with a visual, trend-forward approach that resonates with modern consumers. Their brand sits at the intersection of beauty, wellness, and pop culture - creating endless opportunities for creative storytelling. This is your chance to shape the creative vision of a category-defining brand during its most critical growth phase. They are driving strong traffic to their site, but they need someone to own the complete customer experience and maximize revenue from every session. The company currently lacks strategic leadership in conversion rate optimization, systematic A/B testing, and lifecycle marketing. Their CRO and email/SMS functions are outsourced, and they need an expert who can bring these capabilities in-house while building and managing a high-performing ecommerce team. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Shopify and CRO with strong leadership skills—someone who can execute strategically while also building the team required to scale their direct-to-consumer business.
Responsibilities
Ecommerce Strategy & Performance
- Own the complete customer journey from site visit to repeat purchase, relentlessly optimizing conversion rate, AOV, and revenue per session
- Manage Shopify store operations, apps, and technology stack
- Analyze site analytics and customer behavior patterns to identify high-impact opportunities
- Develop and execute strategies to increase lifetime value and repeat purchase rates
- Track and report on key ecommerce KPIs; provide data-driven insights and recommendations
- Create customer segmentation strategies for personalized site experiences
- Build and optimize loyalty programs or subscription offerings as appropriate
Promotional Campaign Execution
- Implement all Shopify changes during promotional periods (price markdowns, discount codes, language updates, collection pages, hero images, announcement bars, etc.)
- Coordinate site changes with broader promotional calendar and ensure flawless execution
A/B Testing & Conversion Rate Optimization
- Develop and execute comprehensive CRO strategy across all site touchpoints (product pages, landing pages, checkout flow, etc.)
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to systematically improve conversion performance
- Recruit and manage dedicated developer to support CRO implementation and testing
Email/SMS Marketing Management
- Oversee current email/SMS agency during 3-4 month transition period
- Recruit, hire, and manage full-time Klaviyo specialist (Latin America-based)
- Provide strategic direction on flows, segmentation, campaigns, and retention strategies
- Ensure email/SMS drives measurable revenue growth and customer retention
Team & Vendor Management
- Oversee Amazon channel agency, hold accountable for channel performance and growth
- Build and manage ecommerce team (developer, Klaviyo specialist)
- Work with creative team on site assets and promotional materials
- Coordinate with operations on inventory, fulfillment, and customer service needs
- Monitor inventory levels and provide reporting on product performance and stock health
Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies Core Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in ecommerce management for D2C brands with demonstrated revenue growth
- Proven track record of systematic conversion rate optimization and A/B testing programs
- Experience managing and building ecommerce teams (in-house specialists, contractors, agencies)
- Strong background in customer retention and lifecycle marketing strategies
- Experience with beauty/wellness brands strongly preferred
- Hands-on expertise with Klaviyo or similar ESP (sufficient to guide and manage a specialist)
Technical Capabilities
- Expert-level Shopify knowledge (apps, integrations, backend management, promotional mechanics)
- Deep understanding of CRO principles, A/B testing methodologies, and statistical significance
- Strong analytics skills (Google Analytics, Shopify analytics) with ability to derive actionable insights
- Experience managing technical projects and working with developers
- Familiarity with loyalty programs, subscription models, and retention apps
- Understanding of Amazon channel dynamics (to effectively oversee agency performance)
