About the Role

As a Remote Customer Experience & Loyalty Specialist, you will be entrusted with one of the most important responsibilities at arenaflex: preserving and deepening customer relationships. Every call is an opportunity to listen, empathize, and deliver a best-in-class experience that transforms potential frustrations into loyalty and trust. You will engage with customers who are considering canceling or modifying services, and your mission will be to understand their needs, resolve their concerns, and present tailored solutions that keep them connected to the arenaflex family.

This is not a typical customer service position. This is a consultative sales and retention role where your communication skills, product knowledge, and emotional intelligence will directly influence customer satisfaction and company growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships with customers by actively listening to their concerns and identifying opportunities to save and grow their accounts.
  • Navigate multiple internal systems simultaneously to research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues related to one or more products or services.
  • Employ an empathetic and consultative approach to persuade customers to retain their services through personalized solutions and value-driven recommendations.
  • Uncover customer wants, interests, and unmet needs during every interaction to offer relevant additional products, services, or upgrades.
  • Maintain self-sufficiency by leveraging support tools, knowledge bases, and digital resources to independently resolve customer concerns in a virtual environment.
  • Utilize virtual communication platforms (chat, video, internal messaging) to collaborate with managers and support teams when additional expertise is required.
  • Clearly explain billing statements, rate plans, features, and account changes to ensure customers fully understand their services.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for internet, wireless, and home phone services, escalating complex technical issues when appropriate.
  • Adhere strictly to assigned schedules, including breaks, lunches, and open availability windows, to maintain reliable coverage for inbound customer calls.
  • Meet or exceed performance goals related to customer retention, satisfaction surveys, quality assurance, and sales targets.
  • Participate in ongoing coaching, training sessions, and professional development programs designed to elevate your skills and career trajectory.

Work Schedule and Availability

  • This is a full-time position requiring 40 working hours per week.
  • Current business hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST).
  • Hours of operation are subject to change based on business needs, including possible mandatory overtime.
  • Initial Training/Nesting Period: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST for approximately three months. Daily attendance is mandatory during this period.
  • Post-training schedules will shift to later hours and may include weekend shifts.
  • Paid time off becomes available after three months of service.

Work From Home Requirements

To qualify for this remote position, candidates must reside in one of the following states: South Dakota, Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin. In addition, you must meet the following technical and environmental standards:

  • Verified internet service with a minimum of 18 Mbps download and 12 Mbps upload speed.
  • An established, dedicated work area including a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection.
  • arenaflex will provide all necessary equipment, including a keyboard, monitor, computer, and mobile device.
  • Ability to maintain a workspace that complies with arenaflex's remote work standards, including technical, security, physical, and noise-level requirements.
  • Willingness to participate in workspace audits, which may include remote desktop observation, call and screen recordings, live webcam monitoring, workspace photographs, and video chats.
  • Availability, accountability, and adherence to security, compliance, and performance management standards.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, retention, call center, or hospitality environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and style based on customer needs.
  • Active listening skills and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Proficiency with computers, navigating multiple software applications, and typing accuracy.
  • Self-motivation and the discipline to thrive in a remote work environment.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free home workspace.

Preferred Competencies

  • Experience in consultative sales, upselling, or customer retention roles.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, wireless, internet, or media services.
  • Ability to analyze customer data, identify trends, and personalize solutions.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation expertise.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs.
  • Comfort with continuous learning and adapting to evolving product lines.

Compensation and Benefits

At arenaflex, we believe that rewarding talent and dedication fuels exceptional performance. This role offers a competitive starting salary of up to $41,035 per year, with the opportunity to earn up to $47,035 in total starting compensation based on sales performance and achievement.
