Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. Blazerworks is searching statewide in Louisiana to support Zachary Community School Districts need for Speech-Language Pathologists for 24/25. Location: Zachary, LA Dates: Jan 2025 May 2025 Caseload: High School | 9th-12th Grade students | Supported by SLPA Part Time 20 Hours Job Details: Conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities while working from a remote area. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders and difficulties. Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and progress. Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Participating in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and providing input regarding students' communication needs. Qualifications: Louisiana State License to practice Speech and Language Pathology. Type C- Credential (will take education cred. pending) Masters in Speech and Language Pathology or Teacher of Speech and Language Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with school-aged children preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
