Key Responsibilities
- Process and transmit money movements related to loan fundings and security payments with precision and accuracy.
- Review transaction activity to ensure compliance with controls and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
- Support daily cash reconciliations, ensuring alignment with system or bank activity and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Provide remittance and correction information to servicers as needed, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
- Research and interpret legal documents related to collateral or bond payments, applying your knowledge to inform business decisions.
- Evaluate servicer performance to ensure adherence to agreements, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or a minimum of 1 year of experience in financial services, accounting, or analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with a strong foundation in financial analysis and modeling.
