Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, personable, and highly motivated individual to join the arenaflex family as a Customer Service Representative & Counter Sales Specialist. This role is the front‑line ambassador for our brand, responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience both in‑person and through digital channels. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a genuine enthusiasm for the automotive industry. Working Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, you will be the connective tissue between our valued clients, skilled technicians, and the broader arenaflex operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet every customer who walks through the arenaflex showroom, creating an inviting atmosphere that reflects our brand values.
  • Answer inbound phone calls, respond to email inquiries, and manage live chat requests with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Schedule service appointments, coordinate repair timelines, and provide clear, transparent information about service options, pricing structures, and warranty coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with auto body technicians, parts specialists, and management to ensure that repair orders progress smoothly and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions, service orders, and transaction details within our CRM system, guaranteeing data integrity and easy retrieval.
  • Proactively identify and resolve customer concerns, turning potential challenges into opportunities for loyalty building.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as invoicing, filing, inventory checks, and preparation of daily reports for the service manager.
  • Promote ancillary services and aftermarket products, contributing to the counter sales function and helping customers make informed decisions about vehicle care.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, safety briefings, and team meetings to stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and arenaflex policies.
  • Support special events, community outreach programs, and promotional campaigns that showcase arenaflex’s commitment to the local community.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in a customer‑facing role, preferably within automotive service, retail, or hospitality environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, email platforms, and experience using CRM or dealership management software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration, communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a willingness to work the scheduled Monday‑Friday shift.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Previous experience in an automotive body shop, service center, or dealership environment.
  • Working knowledge of automotive terminology, repair processes, and parts identification.
  • Proficiency with industry‑specific software such as Mitchell, Audatex, or similar estimating tools.
  • Demonstrated sales acumen, with a track record of meeting or exceeding upsell and cross‑sell targets.
  • Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish) to better serve a diverse customer base.
  • Certification in customer service excellence (e.g., Certified Customer Service Professional – CCSP).
